ASO Savings & Loans

Tavia Technologies has recently deployed a world class Enterprise Performance Management System (EPMS) for ASO Savings and Loans Plc, headquarters in the Federal Capital Territory, Central Business District.

The EPMS Solution implemented and currently being utilized across all hierarchies and branches was built by Tavia using the balance scorecard methodology in answer to ASO Savings and Loans Plc requirement for a performance management system to enable their framework.

ASO Savings and Loans Plc came up with a performance management framework that will enable them track the implementation of strategy at enterprise, functional, process and individual level. The framework monitors reports and evaluates performance from the following four areas;

  • Strategy performance management
  • Functional performance management
  • Process performance management
  • Individual performance managemen

The pioneering project within Africa saw the implementation of Dashboards across the different hierarchy levels at ASO, SharePoint workflows, forms and lists to capture information on service failure and operational non-compliance. In addition to building of their Enterprise Data warehouse fully integrated with Terminus 24 (T24).
The EPMS Solution was built based on ASO’s organogram, from the MD Dashboard and Reports to Divisional, Unit and Departmental with a drill down available to the most granular detail of individual staff KPI’s and performance indices.
Tavia Technologies recommended and built the EPMS solution using the full Microsoft BI Stack.  The EPMS solution is accessed via their Intranet using MOSS 2007 developed with an intuitive interface. This leveraged on existing infrastructure and provided economic value for existing functions and processes already available at ASO.

The EPMS Solution has enabled ASO determine the economic value being created by each function, process and individual staff. In addition to providing the flexibility of identifying product by product contribution to the bank’s economic value and various measures including best and worst performers.
