Position Objective:

The Cloud Architect is an IT specialist who helps Tavia leverage cloud technology for application deployment and other use cases. He/she is primarily responsible for the organization’s cloud computing architecture and will work closely with a variety of stakeholders, as they navigate both the back-end technical side and the business side of cloud infrastructure. Working on cloud application designs, cloud approval plans, and systems required to manage cloud storage. You will play a strategic role in maintaining all cloud systems including the front-end platforms, servers, storage and management of the network. You will also provide advice on how to deal with high-risk situations.

Key Duties/Responsibilities:

• You will create and execute well informed cloud computing strategies by designing, developing, and managing cloud infrastructure and assets as well as the adaptation process
• He/she will work closely with DevOps team, Technical Leads etc., not only for strategic planning, but also for the technical work of building, deploying, and migrating applications within Tavia’s computing cloud.
• The Cloud Architect will also collaborate with developers to make sure that preliminary requirements of a build are met before continuing to design and integrate the project.
• Have deep knowledge of the organization’s cloud infrastructure and can therefore assist IT security by monitoring cloud activity and addressing bugs.
• Regularly evaluate cloud applications, hardware, and software.
• Develop and organize cloud systems.
• Work closely with IT security to monitor the company's cloud privacy.
• Respond to technical issues in a professional and timely manner.
• Offer guidance in infrastructure movement techniques including bulk application transfers into the cloud.
• Identify the top cloud architecture solutions to successfully meet the strategic needs of the company.

Qualification, Experience and Skill Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, computer engineering, information technology, or relevant field
• 5+ years of experience designing, executing, and supporting IT cloud solutions.
• Solid understanding of cloud computing & technology systems and the current trend as well as experience designing & transferring applications to the cloud.
• You should have a positive attitude and excellent communication skills to effectively share your knowledge.
• Positive attitude and a strong commitment to delivering quality work.
• Effective communication skills (written and verbal) to properly articulate complicated cloud reports to management and other IT development partners.
• Ability to design and implement cloud infrastructure.
